The Cashier in the Financial Operations office will continue to operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30am to 11:30am through 12/18/25. December 18th will be the last day in 2025, before our ACU Christmas Break, to make cash/check deposits. Beginning January 5, 2026, the Cashier operating hours will change to Monday & Wednesday afternoons from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
As we move closer to the holiday season, all staff and faculty are invited to lunch at the World Famous Bean on December 16th at 11:30 for our annual Christmas Lunch. Lunch will be provided at no charge with a faculty/staff ID card. We appreciate you!
The First Destination Survey (FDS) is a national data collection effort that captures the post-graduation outcomes of college seniors, including employment, continuing education, military service, and volunteer plans. This information helps universities understand trends, strengthen academic programs, and support future Wildcats with accurate and meaningful career data. We kindly request your partnership in encouraging students to complete their FDS through the 12twenty platform. ACU is bringing eHealth Screenings back on campus for your convenience! Complete your complimentary biometric screening to help earn points toward your 2027 wellness credit. To avoid the wellness premium surcharge in 2027, all employees and spouses enrolled in ACU’s medical plan for 2026 must complete a biometric screening and annual physical with their physician by 7/31/26. Onsite Screening Dates and Times: ACU (Abilene) – Hunter Welcome Center December 10th, 11th & 12th: 7:30 am-12 pm Visit the link for eHealth in the flyer provided to register for your screening. If you are unable to attend one of the on-site screenings, whether you are a remote employee or due to a schedule conflict, you can download a form on the eHealth website to complete your screening with your physician. Follow the steps to schedule a screening to access the form. Please see the attached flyer for additional information about registering for the mobile app. If you have any questions, you can also contact humanresources@acu.edu. REMEMBER: You must fast (no food) for 9 hours before your appointment. Please drink plenty of water. Black coffee is permitted. Continue to take any prescription medications. If you have diabetes, please consult your physician before fasting.

We will be gathering on Monday, December 1, in the Halbert-Walling Research Center Lobby from 3:30–4:30 p.m. to honor and thank Dr. Perkins for his years of dedication, service, and impact on our ACU community. This come-and-go reception is an opportunity to share memories, express appreciation, and wish him well as he begins this next chapter. We hope to see you there!
Applications and abstracts for the 2026 Undergraduate Research, Creativity, and Innovation Festival at Abilene Christian University are due on Friday, January 30, 2026 by 5 p.m. The ACU Undergraduate Research, Creativity, and Innovation Festival is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the Hunter Welcome Center.
