The Library invites you to a come-and-go farewell reception for Jasmine Hoover, Data Services Librarian, on Friday, May 26th,  from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., in the Library Atrium.  Jasmine has served the Library since August 2015, and has accepted a position as Science and Technology Librarian at Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia.  There will be a presentation at 2:15 p.m..  Please join us to thank Jasmine for her outstanding work here in the Library.

Cataloging Librarian Jana Davis is retiring after 28 years of service and teaching for the Library. Please join us as we celebrate her work here and wish her well. Her retirement reception will be on Thusday, May 25th, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Library Atrium. There will be a special presentation and reflections at 2:30 p.m.

Please join us for a farewell reception for Mark Jackson on Tuesday, May 9th from 3-4:30 p.m. Mark is joining the staff at Beltway as their Outreach Pastor. The reception will be located in Classroom 260 A in the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. Hope to see you there!

There will be a retirement celebration for Darrell Horn on Thursday, May 4th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the McGlothlin Campus Center, Corbin Den – Lower Level. Please join us as we celebrate Darrell’s many years of service with ACU!

Please join in a celebration for Dr. Jeff Arrington as he prepares to begin his role as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Faulkner University.  Jeff has served at ACU for 28 years in a variety of roles in the College of Arts and Sciences and in Student Life.  The reception will be in the Halbert-Walling atrium on Friday, May 5 at 3:00-4:30 p.m., with a presentation around 3:30 p.m.

Dr. John Willis will be speaking in Chapel on Mondy, April 24th. Dr. Willis plans to retire at the end of the semester after teaching in the CBS for 46 years. He joined the Bible faculty in 1971 after teaching at Lipscomb University in Nashville for 15 years. Willis was named teacher of the year in 1974 and 2006.

Please join the College of Biblical Studies in honoring John Willis as he retires after 46 years of teaching at ACU. His reception will be on Friday, May 12, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the Hall of Servants of the Onstead-Packer Biblical Studies building. Special presentations will start around 2:00 p.m. We hope you and many alumni will be able to join us for this special occasion. John and his wife Evelyn, have touched many lives during their time at ACU.

Wendell Willis is retiring after 23 years of teaching for the College of Biblical Studies. Please join us as we celebrate his years of service to our college and to the university. His retirement reception will be on Monday, April 24, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the lower Rotunda of the Onstead-Packer Biblical Studies building. A special presentation will start around 2:30 p.m.

You are invited to a come and go celebration of Lois Marie Reed on Friday, April 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m in the foyer of the Onstead Science Building. There will be a time of reflection at 2:30 p.m.  If you would like to share your memories, please email Chris Smith at chris.smith@acu.edu. No gifts please; if desired, donations may be made to the Lois Marie Reed Scholarship Endowment.

Monday, April 17 from 1:00-2:30 p.m., there will be a retirement reception honoring Dr. Eric Hardegree.  Dr. Hardegree has been with the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department for 32 years. The reception will take place in the Halbert-Walling Lobby. There will be a short presentation at 1:30 p.m. Please come and share this joy with Dr. Hardegree and his family along with faculty and staff.
