Farewell Reception for Jan Meyer

Please join us as we wish farewell to Jan Meyer, who is getting to fulfill a life-long dream to work in the mountains of New Mexico.  She will begin working at the Glorieta Camps at the end of March.  Please come by the lower level of the Campus Center on Tuesday, March 7 between 2:30-4:00 p.m. to wish her well!

Join Us for Alumni Day 2017

A few are still available for our annual Alumni Day lunch this Sunday (2/19). We will honor ACU’s 2017 Outstanding Alumni of the Year, David (’82) and Laurie (Stallings ’81) Vanderpool, and the Outstanding Alumna of the Year, Chelsea (Thornton ’01) Buchholtz. Lunch is at 12:30 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center. Tickets: $20 a person; $140 for a table of eight. Visit alumniassociation.acu.edu for tickets. If your department would like to purchase tickets or a table using a FOAP, please contact Suzanne Sims at ext. 4830. Please note, you cannot buy tickets using a purchasing card.

Jim Trietsch’s Retirement Reception

Retirement Reception – Dora Weathers

The Brown Library Invites you to a reception honoring Dora Weathers.  Dora retired from ACU in July after 20 years of faithful service. Now that she’s back in the states, come help us celebrate her retirement on Wednesday, December 7th, 3-4 p.m. in the Brown Library Atrium, with a special presentation at 3:15 p.m.

Pemberton Named to Board for Children’s Spirituality

Dr. Dana Kennamer Pemberton has been named to the board for the Society for Children’s Spirituality (Christian Perspectives), an international ecumenical organization of academics and thoughtful practitioners dedicated to promoting informed practice regarding children’s spirituality. The Society represents a broad range of Christian faith traditions and strives to create opportunities for dialogue and collaboration between researchers and practitioners through their conferences, publications, and social media presence. Reception Honoring Glenn Pemberton

A reception honoring Dr. Glenn Pemberton will be on Thursday, October 20. The reception will be from 3:30-5:00 in the lower Rotunda of the Onstead-Packer College of Biblical Studies building. A special presentation will be given around 4:00. Sadly Glenn is leaving us due to medical disability. Please join us as we thank him for the time and blessings he shared with us.
