Altheron Payne on Photographer of the week 09: Crewdson
10:53 pm, 04.23.12
For some odd reason my eyes were focused on that fog to the left of the man. I found this very strange in the fact that the male should be my focus. Then I remembered the rule of thirds and the fog lays on the lines of where it would be placed.
Altheron Payne on P5: Time-lapse
10:50 pm, 04.23.12
This project is my favorite one, I enjoy how each project will look different. Based on the subject matter also on the speed of each frame, will make the project more or less interesting.
Altheron Payne on Photographer of the week 07: Nilsson
7:34 am, 02.21.12
I enjoy the lighting that is presented in this portrait that creates dramatic effects. The reflection of light in the iris reminds me of a photo that is ongoing as you zoom in. Along with the lighting and color of the eyes I believe that is the focus point. The photographer does a good job with the lighting and shadows seen on the background behind that help illumiate the subject matter.
