All First Year Art and Design Majors are eligible to submit their portfolios for scholarship consideration. If you became a major after the fall semester of the last academic year and you have not submitted a portfolio previously for scholarship consideration, you are eligible. The works are due in the Art and Design Office Conference Room this Monday, September 14, by 5:00 p.m. Requirements:
- All entries must be bound together or enclosed in a casing that is clearly identified with your contact information.
- The number of work entered is not specified but 10 -15 should be sufficient. Keep in mind that it is often better to submit fewer works of highest quality rather than a large number of pieces that may not all be strong.
- Work may also be submitted as slides and in electronic form, either on a CD or a flash-drive.
The portfolios will be jurored by the Art and Design faculty early next week. You should receive notification of the results of the judging later that week as well as instructions concerning the picking up of your work. Good Luck! The Art and Design Faculty
