Spring & Summer Registration
All freshmen and sophomores will be required to make an advising appointment with Arlene to receive your advising code to register for the Spring and Summer. Make an appointment with Arlene here.
Juniors and Seniors you are most welcome to make an appointment and go through your degree planning or you can just get your advising code.
IMPORTANT: Arlene will be out of the country from 10/1-10/12 and will be back in the office on Monday 10/13.

Art & Design Chapel
We will meet at 11am in Room 141. Our theme this semester is “Shift – moments of insight.” We will hear from Dan McGregor this week.
Mandatory Department Meeting
If you are tempted to think that you’ve heard it all before, you haven’t. The Mandatory Department Meeting has a new and different agenda this year. Attendance is required. Following the meeting we will enjoy our Department Cook Out or as some of your might know it, the Ronnie Rama BBQ Palooza! The meeting will be 4:30-5:30 and the Cook Out will begin 5:30pm.

Join us in room 141 at 11am on either Monday, September 29th or Tuesday, September 30th for an Advising Workshop to prepare for the upcoming registration and to track your path toward graduation.
Job Opportunities
Downtown Gallery Worker Needed
We still need 1 worker! The ACU Downtown Gallery is seeking a student to sit downtown on Thursdays from noon to 3:00PM.
Responsibilities include opening and closing the gallery and general tidying up of the space. Additionally, assistance might be needed with the handling and hanging of various shows. Please contact Jack Maxwell about the position. maxwellj@acu.edu
Homecoming Parade Workers
The ACU PD is looking for workers on the Saturday of Homecoming 7:30-11:30 at $10 per hour. You can contact Randy at (325)665-3616 if you are interested.
Graphic Design Intern
ACU Dining Services is currently seeking a designer to help with various design functions for campus dining locations. The primary functions would involve creating layouts for the Screens in the Bean, creating signs, designs, and miscellaneous other creative works for campus dining locations. The Internship is unpaid, but will provide flexible hours, a wide variety of design experience opportunities, and a free meal in the bean for every day that is worked.
Designer must have their own computer to work from and must be able to submit rough layouts prior to the final submissions.
No prior design experience necessary, however experience will be taken into consideration when viewing applicants.
Graphic Designer Job Duties:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
- Plans concepts by studying information and materials
- Designs and submits rough compositions for review
- Completes projects and designs by coordinating with the Peer to Peer Marketing team
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing these tasks
