- Lost and Found: I have a few random things in my office in case you have lost something over the last few weeks.
- Wishing Well, an ACU student-led social justice organization, is hosting an art competition open to all students to support their next clean water well project. Submissions are to be inspired by the water crisis. The subject of the show is what water looks like to you, a college student in Abilene. For example, you could portray it how you see water as an accessible resource and commodity to us or you could show the injustices you see around the world when some countries lack access to resources like water, health, and education due to the water crisis. You can look at the Wishing Well website, www.wishforwater.com, for more information about the water crisis or inspiration from one of our photographers, Esther Havens. Submissions are due on Saturday, February 23 from 9 am to noon in the Shore Art Gallery. All forms of media are acceptable. Two-Dimensional art must be framed. The show will be hung in the Center for Contemporary Arts for the months of March and April and a reception will be held on March 21.
