There will be a trip to Austin to visit design studios and talk with fellow designers.
We will be visiting Christian Helms with Helms Workshop, Simon Walker, and Curtis Jenkins.

AIGA SCREEN PRINTING SHIRT | TBA
The officers are in the process of designing a shirt for our AIGA Student Group. Once the design
is made, we will be offering you (an AIGA member) the opportunity to screen print your shirt.
Not only do you get a sweet shirt, but you’ll get to learn how to screen print as well.

HOW TO JOIN:
Know for sure you want to join the AIGA ACU Student Group Austin Chapter? Of course you do!
- When you register to be a member join the Austin Texas AIGA chapter
- Make sure you select “Student” for your orientation then select “ACU” for your school
- If ACU is not listed select “no school”
- After you register (Step 5) please complete this short form to join ACU’s membership email list

Call For Entries: BCAA
The Big Country Art Association (BCAA) is a regional collection of artists whose work reflects the stunning diversity of artistic talent in West Central Texas. This juried exhibition is open to all big country artists – amateur and professional – 18 years and older. Works in any medium (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics) are welcome. Two-dimensional work submitted must be presentation-ready (framed with a wire hanger on the back). You may enter a maximum of three pieces.
Location: The ACU Downtown Gallery (1133 North 2nd Street)
Submission Deadlines: Friday, November 2nd between noon-3pm
Saturday, November 3rd between 9am-noon
Awards Ceremony: Thursday, November 8th at 5:30pm-8pm (Art Walk)
Pick-Up of Exhibited Work: Friday, November 30th between noon-3pm
Pick-Up of Exhibited Work: Friday, November 30th between noon-3pm
Saturday, December 1st between noon-3pm
Work will be displayed from November 8th-November 29th, Wednesday-Saturday between Noon-3pm
Fee requirements from last year which will probably remain the same:
Standard Fees: $20 for first artwork and $5 for additional work
For the Students and Seniors: $10 for first Artwork and $5 for additional works
