Student Art Club
Come to the Student Art Club this Thursday at 8:00 in Don Morris Room 220.
Any one is welcome, so come and bring a friend! We will be making a poster and mixed media collaborative art. No one is required to bring supplies, but you are welcome to bring any supplies that you prefer or lose change to help pay for what is available! Sacks will be provided!

ACU in NYC
Over spring break, 20 students from the ACU Art & Design department, along with two faculty members, toured New York City visiting various graphic design firms and legends. Among those visited were Funny Garbage, SpotCo, Milton Glaser, Louise Fili, Etsy, Dress Code, Museum of Modern Art, Deborah Adler, Type Directors Club, and the School of Visual Arts.

Cancelled: Senior Show (April Fools!)
Senior Show: Origin
The ACU Downtown Gallery opened it’s door to the Senior Cameo Show: Origin on March 10, 2011 during ArtWalk. This show is comprised of eight students chosen by faculty for the their talent in various disciplines to be featured in the only senior show to open downtown this semester. Seniors include Adriana Planes-Hettich, Melanie Caskey, Whitney du Menil, James Mikhale, Ashley Ham, Joanna Gaines, Tanner Freeman, and Jessica Floe. The eclectic blend of work drew quite a crowd, leaving the gallery overflowing until late in the evening. Origin will be available for public viewing until May 5 during regular viewing hours (Wed-Fri, 12-3).
