Mitch Rogers became interested in special effects work in 1989 while working at a costume and magic shop in Dallas, Texas. Through this avenue, Mitch began to develop his skills in the area of life-casting and began to apply that knowledge to basic prosthetic work and fabrication of life-like human props. Mitch then went on to work in the art bronze world creating complex silicone and urethane molds for sculpture. Today Mitch builds all kinds of specialized props, life-like dummies, custom breakaways, and prosthetics for Texas film and television customers.
He owns and operates BITY Mold Supply: Mold Making and Casting Supplies and Accessories in Richardson , Texas.

SMALL TEXAS TOWN SEARCHES FOR A NEW LOOK
Contest to develop a new logo for an old Texas town
PILOT POINT, TX – The City of Pilot Point, Texas today announced a global design competition to develop a new logo and a slogan for this Texas town of 5,000 residents.
Eligibility -The contest is open to anyone of any age.
Duration – Monday, January 11,2010 – Friday, February 19, 2010
Entries – Submissions can be made through the special email address: entry@pilotpointlogocontest.com.,
Prize – A $500 prize will be awarded to the winner.
Celebrity Judges – A panel of judges consisting of local town leaders and celebrities including Walt Garrison, Clarice Tinsley, Larry Mahan, Donna Howell-Sickles, Bob Philips, Don Schol and Pam Burnley-Schol.
