Brent Couchman graduated in 2005 with BFA in Graphic Design, and is currently Senior Graphic Designer at Fossil. His recent projects range from brand posters to illustrations, and has had work featured on various publications such as Print, HOW, Communication Arts, LogoLounge, and The Eisner American Museum of Advertising & Design. Keep your eyes open for his newly featured poster and logo design on Graphis Poster Annual 2010 and Communication Arts Design Annual 50 (comming out soon).

While still being a graphic design major at ACU/Art&Design, Brent’s work was also featured on CMYK magazine which exclusively displays student work from coast to coast. Need a job and want real design experience? Student Graphic Designers/Photographers Needed for 1-3 New Positions.

The department is looking for a student (or students) with strong graphic design skills that likes to multitask and can assist in a variety of roles:

  • The Shore and ACU-Cockerell Gallery- Design promotion materials, labels, vinyl work, banners, assist with show installations, etc.
  • The Department Website and Blog- Obtain web content and archival materials (Photography skills are helpful). Maintain and improve site functionality, design and integration.
  • Department Hallway Electronic Bulletin Board (digital flat screen monitor)- Add and keep design content current.
  • Art and Design Chapel- Provide design (advertisements) and structure for weekly chapel experience, Communicate with Chapel presenters and meet individual needs.

This job requires a talented responsible student with not only interest but also available time to work. This student must be able to work independently and still meet prescribed deadlines.

Hours: Approximately 6-10 per week although this will vary as needs dictate.

Position Begins: Immediately

Pay: $7.25 per hour
