Please take a minute to look at your pay stub in myACU Banner so that you are aware of your earnings and deductions. Your elections from open enrollment for your 2025 benefit deductions was seen for the first time on the Jan 3rd paycheck. It’s important that you verify your deductions were set up as you expected. Failure to notify HR of a discrepancy in a timely manner could result in our inability to process a change. If you need help locating your pay stub or have a question, please contact HR at x2359 or humanresources@acu.edu.

Holiday and Personal Day balances for 2025 will be loaded into your leave balance with the 1/17 payroll. This means that when entering in your holiday for New Years, you will get an “Insufficient Balance” warning. This can be ignored for this single payroll only. When that 1/17 payroll is processed, your new balances for the year will be added before deducting your reported leave.

Beginning the week of January 13th, the Finance Cashier hours of operation for the Spring semester will be changing to Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

In order to stay in compliance, all beverages must be purchased through Coca-Cola. We ask your help and cooperation in honoring both the stated intent and the spirit of the contract. As the calendar year is coming to an end, it is time to start thinking about making sure you have used all of your FSA money before you lose it. Need to know what is considered to be an eligible expense to use your FSA or HSA funds on? Check out this website to help you determine if you are using your funds appropriately.

The Honors College invites ACU faculty to submit proposals for Honors Colloquia for the 2025-2026 academic year. These seminars provide a unique opportunity to share your expertise and interests with some of ACU’s top undergraduate students in a collaborative, small-class setting. We encourage you to submit your proposal if you have a compelling idea! Priority consideration will be given to submissions received by December 31, with the final deadline on January 13. Applications and abstracts for the 2025 Undergraduate Research, Creativity, and Innovation Festival at Abilene Christian University are due on Monday, February 3, 2025 by 5 p.m. The ACU Undergraduate Research, Creativity, and Innovation Festival is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in the Hunter Welcome Center. To learn more about the Undergraduate Research, Creativity, and Innovation Festival, watch this video. For additional information and to submit a proposal, visit this link.
