Please join us for a farewell reception honoring Kevin Roberts, Vice-President of Operations and Planning. There will be a come-and-go reception celebrating Kevin’s 17 years of service to ACU on Tuesday, July 26, from 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the Hunter Welcome Center, East Lobby. Dr. Schubert will make a presentation at 4 pm. Kevin has accepted a position with Campus Management and will begin his new role with them in August. We hope you’ll take time to come by and visit with Kevin and his family.
The SRWC invites you to a come-and-go farewell reception for Dr. Kerri Hart on Friday, June 24 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. in the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. (Room 260A) Kerri has worked for ACU for 21 years. She recently accepted a job at Ft. Worth Christian Schools and will begin there this fall. Please come by to wish her well.
The Office of Student Activities and Productions invites you to say farewell to Mark Jackson at a reception Tuesday, May 31, from 4-6 p.m. in Zone A of the McCaleb Conference Center (Hunter Welcome Center.)
Each year during Pre-Session, we take the opportunity to present awards to two outstanding staff members. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from the campus. Please take time to nominate a member of the staff for this honor. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 10th. Please note: These awards are for staff employees only; faculty members are honored in each college.
The Office of Financial Aid Awarding invites you to a retirement reception for Terry Stremmel on Thursday, May 26, from 3-4 p.m. in the Education Conference Room (Phillips Education Bldg room 119). The College of Biblical Studies invites you to a retirement reception for Kent Smith on Tuesday, April 26 from 3-4 p.m. in the lower Rotunda of the College of Biblical Studies building. Please join us as we congratulate Kent for the 26 years of service to ACU in the field of missions.
The Department of Music invites you to a retirement reception honoring Cheryl Lemmons, Staff Accompanist and Collaborative Pianist, for more than 20 years of service to the university. The celebration will be on May 2, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the WPAC North Lobby.
Three Undergraduate Research Mentors of the Year were named at the Undergraduate Research Festival. They are Dr. Anita Broxson from the School of Nursing, Dr. Michael Daugherity from Engineering and Physics and Dr. Christopher Hutson from Bible, Missions, and Ministry.
