The Department of Marriage & Family Studies invites you to a farewell reception honoring Steve Wages for 19 years of distinguished and devoted service. Steve will be leaving ACU to take a position at Faulkner University. The celebration will be on April 28, 2016, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Lower Rotunda of the Biblical Studies Bldg.
The Department of Language and Literature invites you to a retirement reception honoring Carolyn Thompson, Instructor of German and Director of the Institute of Intensive English, for 24 years of distinguished and diligent service. The celebration will be on April 20, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Adams Center classroom.
The Women’s Basketball team clinched the league’s automatic bid to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) and will find out late Monday, March 14, who, when and where they will play. Make sure to check acusports.com and ACU Sports’ social media profiles to get the details once they’re available.

Dr. Donald Isenhower has been featured in the Fall 2015 CCCU Advance Magazine. Dr. Isenhower authored the piece on Scholarship of Discovery (p.33) from Ernest L. Boyer’s Categories of Scholarship. Scholarship of Discovery is that which pursues new insights and knowledge about our world.

ACU’s School of Nursing has earned national accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The first class of nursing students graduated in May.
Each year during Pre-Session, we take the opportunity to present awards to two outstanding staff members. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from the campus. Please take time to nominate a member of the staff for this honor. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 5th.
Please note: These awards are for staff employees only; faculty members are honored in each college.
