Irina Werning

Irinia was born in Buenos Aires and attended Westminister University in London for Photojournalism. I think his projects are always really cool concepts and ideas. I think he does well with telling stories and making the brain turn when viewing images.
One of my favourite projects from him is the Back to the Future Series…
“I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today… Two years ago, I decided to actually do this. So, with my camera, I started inviting people to go back to their future..”
Here are just a few images from the project, but you can goto http://www.irinawerning.com/index.php?/bttf2/back-to-the-future-2-2011/

Rune Werner is a photographer from Norway. He does a lot of landscape images that I think are really neat. They way he captures motions in some of the shot is pretty spectacular.

Short and sweet…check this out! It’s pretty awesome. Not sure if I would ever use it but it seems pretty cool. The iPhone 4S has a sick camera on it and this would just make it even better.

Welcome back everyone!

I hope you enjoyed your break, and returned ready and re-energized for another semester. Digital Art Photography is a fun and demanding course, but I am quite positive you will enjoy its intensity. This class will function as a lab, where visual experimentations happen. Photography is a very dynamic medium!

I’ll see you around. :)
