Downtown Gallery Worker Needed
The ACU Downtown Gallery is seeking a student to sit downtown on Thursdays from noon to 3:00PM and a student to sit Wednesdays from noon to 3PM. This can be the same student if scheduling allows.
Responsibilities include opening and closing the gallery and general tidying up of the space. Additionally, assistance might be needed with the handling and hanging of various shows. Please contact Jack Maxwell about the position: maxwellj@acu.edu

Art & Design Chapel – THIS Thursday!
We will meet at 11am in Room 141. Our theme this semester is “Shift – moments of insight.” We will hear from Brandon Young this week. We will also hear a short announcement about World Wide Witness.
Mark Your Calendar! – September 25th!
All new MANDATORY MEETING. If you are tempted to think that you’ve heard it all before, you haven’t. The Mandatory Department Meeting has a new and different agenda this year. Attendance is required. Following the meeting we will enjoy our Department Cook Out or as some of your might know it, the Ronnie Rama Palooza! The meeting will be 4:30-5:30 and the Cook Out will begin at 5:30.

Artist Talk and Art Walk this THURSDAY!
You are invited to an artist talk with Felice House and Dana Younger on Thursday, September 11th in Don Morris Room 141 at 1:45pm. They will be talking about their paintings and sculptures.
Their talk will relate to the Art Walk Opening, featuring their work, which is taking place the same night, from 5:30-8pm. The Art Walk will be at the ACU Downtown Gallery (1133 N. 2nd St.).
Ginna Sadler: “Until Now”
The opening for Ginna Sadler’s show on Friday was a success! The show features her work from 1968-2014 and includes jewelry, metalwork, watercolor paintings, and lots more! Her work will remain in the gallery until October 3rd, so stop by and check it out!

A cell phone was left in 220 on Friday and the owner obviously would love to have it back. Please keep a look out for the phone and if you find it you can bring it to Arlene in the Art office. Thanks!
