Interior Design Students grad awards

Two Interior Design Seniors grabbed awards at the ASID Student Symposium Fall Boot Camp, held in Dallas, TX on October 14-15, 2011.   Students from 15 collegiate interior design programs attended the two day event. Melanie Bartholomew, received a $1500 Scholarship. She also won Second Place for One Unique Space which portrayed her original architectural design for Mission Lazarus,  a church in Honduras. Not surprisingly, Melanie received a trophy for her Second Place participation on-site in Speed Charette Design Teams.

Senior Interior Design major, Haley Buffington, received three trophies as well as $500 and other perks. Haley was named first place winner in the Hospitality division for her entry, “Soul Hotel”.
