Student Competition

Dear NACCAP Contacts

Dear Students from NACCAP institutions,

We’re searching for outstanding student designers who are looking for an opportunity to build their portfolio and get their work in print. We have a project for you.

NACCAP (North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals) is once again sponsoring a student design competition for promotional materials for the fall 2011 National Christian College Fairs (NCCF). The winning entry will receive a $500 cash award and their work in print. *NACCAP reserves the right to use the design in whole or in part.

See http://www.naccap.org/news.asp?ID=138 for more information including deadlines, specifics and contact information.

Deadline to enter is March 14, 2011

Last year, two students submitted winning entries: North Greenville University and Multnomah University.

We look forward to viewing this year’s entries.

Thanks,

NACCAP and NCCF Staff

Artist’s Assistant Internship with Katherine Gordan Rice

An Artist’s Assistant Internship with Katherine Gordan Rice is posted on ACU CareerLink (job id 14094), just click here to sign-in or register to apply.

This opportunity is an unpaid internship, but travel expenses will be paid. You will help set up and take down shows, stretch canvas and input data. This is a very hands-on kind of job that requires a wide range of skills. Training will be provided in the more specialized sorts of tasks that relate to producing and selling art. This is a dream internship if you want to make a living as an artist yourself one day. It will require travel to and from the Katherine Gordan Rice studio in Eastland, but only once a week or so.
