Thursday, October 18, the Adams Center hosted a session presented by the Innovation Foundry and Library regarding the Alternative Textbook Initiative. This is a needed topic for universities around the nation trying to address the cost of a university education and still provide the best possible information for their students. This talk accompanies a grant issued by the ACU Provost to encourage ACU faculty to incorporate an Open Education Resource text in place of a traditional textbook. Today, Donald Simpson led our session about Google’s Backup & Sync. Upload and store files from any folder on your computer, camera, and SD cards in the cloud. You can find your content on any phone, tablet, or computer using Google Drive, and your photos and videos in Google Photos.
