Mandatory Art Department Meeting

Print

Thursday, October 10th at 4:30PM meet in the Shore Art Gallery for a mandatory meeting.
Please make every effort to be there. If you cannot make it for any reason please come by the art office and give your name to Arlene Kasselman.

This meeting will focus primarily on advising and student requirements. We will meet as a whole department for about 15 minutes and then break off into sub-groups based on discipline. Here are a few topics being discussed:

  • degree plan course sequencing (how to graduate on time)
  • departmental advising expectations
  • competitions, internships and looking for employment
  • first and second year reviews

On the topic of advising when making appointments with Arlene please take special note of what to bring to that meeting. If you are not prepared you may be asked to reschedule your meeting. Meeting times will fill up quick as registration approaches so make appointments soon. Also, please read over the departments expectations of you in managing your degree plan.

Again if you cannot make it to the meeting due to work schedule or some other significant reason please give your name to Arlene.
