I have been researching a lot lately about women sports photographers because frankly I have yet to meet one, let alone even see one on the sidelines of any sporting events. While the industry for sports photographers is predominately male, there are women out there who are making a name for themselves in this industry. I came across Laura Barisonzi’s name from literally typing into the Google search engine “women sports photographers” and she was on the top. From her work it is evident why her name was one of the first ones to pop up because the photographs she produces for sports photography is absolutely amazing. It was hard to resist to upload a plethora of her photos onto this post, but I chose these three because even though they seem so simple, I am itching to know the production behind the photo that went into creating this high quality, amazing, shot.

Ok, that is actually so true, I always see men photographing events and I think this lady does a good job! I like how the photos are artsy but also realistic and have story to tell.
