Ashley Hall I met Bill Frakes while attending a workshop in Wyoming. Besides being a neat person, he is a well seasoned photographer, extremely talented, and humble guy. I had a great time with him, and learned a lot by just listening and watching him work.

I like how he captured the sky in this picture. But I went onto his website to view more of his work. I liked this other photo more because of the lighting and how well he captured the sweat off of the basket ball players head. I can def. see why Bill Frakes has won so many awards.

I also looked at his website a loved the faces section. After taking the street photography course this summer abroad, I have a new fascination and appreciation for such fantastic simple moments that he captures. All the sports photography is also incredible with such crisp images.

Holy cow. This guy is crazy talented. The perspective he uses is so interesting. I don’t ever get tired of looking at his pictures!! Some of the pole vualting (I think) images are just phenomenal. He creates such great depth to the images. Also, the lighting is something that really sticks out to me. In some of his “Places” pictures he has a light as the main focus of the picture. This is so cool! I would love to shoot some pictures like his!!!
