The After Party emphasizes our identity in Christ over that of a political party. Through curated video content from Redeeming Babel and purposeful conversations, this six-week series hopes to radically recenter Christ as we seek to be engaged, informed, and influential citizens in this election season. The “us versus them” mentality opposes the “mind of Christ” and camouflages our true spiritual enemy: dark “powers and principalities” that seek to divide humanity. This series will run for six consecutive Thursdays beginning on September 5th and each session will end at 1:15 p.m. rather than the typical 12:50 p.m. end time. Join us as we are reminded of our identity in Christ rather than an ideology or political party. Across campus, staff and students will also be engaging the content. One of The After Party’s content creators, Curtis Chang, will speak in chapel and the Adams Center on October 16th.
