In our last Academic Council meeting on 15 September, we brought up for consideration and left pending the passage of a new group of “O” courses. That pending business is now being brought up by the Chair for an “Internet vote” (AIP’s Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure)Please review the following packets and complete electronic voting via this form.

Wildcats,

After our fruitful discussion about outcomes in yesterday’s council meeting, and the translation of outcomes from one campus’ syllabus to another campus’ syllabus, I have removed the video previously posted here as it may confuse our terminology going forward related to the new “data dictionary.”

We will keep working on iteratively increasing our understanding of this important issue and will continue to address it going forward.

1. Watch for New Meeting Invitations from Halbert starting with the September meeting(s).
2. We expect multiple UGEC meetings in September. We hope to move the remaining UG Capstone courses through in those meetings.
3. CouncilConnect Blog – In an effort to improve communication and accuracy of information between parts of the ACU Dallas ecosystem while moving through an unprecedented number of courses, items approved by Council will be made to select members of Operations after our meetings. These items will be located on a separate secure website in order to keep our Council deliberative documents internal and to avoid confusion as to what was finally approved. If you would like to help with this project please contact Dr. Halbert.
