I Stumble”d”Upon Andre De Freitas artwork. My favortie photographs are her double exposure shots. This is her bio and some of my favorite shots.

Hello, my name is Andre De Freitas and I’m a photographer and illustrator. I studied in Full Sail University and got a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Animation.

But oddly enough, the concept of stillness captured my imagination, and I focused more on illustration. Instead of just drawing,I tried to imagine myself taking photos

of my subjects. That way the illusion of stillness would be a little more believable, almost like a photograph. After that, my insertion into the world of photography was

almost based on instinct.

    The shot on this post with the double exposure with the bright pinks, oranges and greens is so interesting. Most double exposures I’ve seen are monochromatic but this shot gives it a whole new feel. Interesting effect of using color vs. B&W.

    This is BEAUTIFUL. I like how she merges art with photographs that could be just regular portraits. When photographers do this, i gain so much respect for them. i would definitely buy one of these and hang one in my house.
