A friend was showing me these on a website the other day and I thought they were perfect candid shots. These people walk through a Haunted House and at one point during the tour, there is a perfect photo op as the customers are scared to their wits end. It’s pretty entertaining. Here are a few examples:

Here’s the link to the official website for more:

Go look: it’s hilarious, and they’re good quality photos.

  1. That’s so cool that you had opportunity to work beside this guy. He had a great quality of photos. I love the water ones and some of the commercial ones that he did. Cool Link!

  2. I literally sat and looked through everything on his website for like 40 minutes. I love all of his work because of the contrasts in the lighting and the seriousness in the subjects faces. My favorite picture he does is the one of Shia Lebouf. The quality of this photo is awesome and the dramatic emphasis on the lights and darks really say “drama” to me. I love it.

  3. I remember looking at Leibovitz during Intro to Black and White and loving her. Her sense of detail is combined with her style of fantasy to create amazing photos. I have no idea how she even took this picture above. Must have been a lot of photoshop and lightroom.

  4. This is the style I want to go for in my shoot for the first project, minus the background. I love the dramatic lighting that creates a nice contrast. If I could find a place to take pictures that looked like this, it would be perfect.
