There might be times when you would like to hide student names while grading (for fairness) or demonstrating (for privacy). Unfortunately Canvas grade book does not have an option to hide students names directly but there are a few workarounds:
- You can drag the lines behind the names’ section to make the names unrecognizable.
2. You can shift to individual view, which then will show the option to hide names:
3. In Speedgrader, you can also hide student names. Click on the gear icon, then “options” and then you will be able to check the option to hide student names.
