GRAPHIC DESIGN / ADVERTISING
This major combines training in art with that of journalism and mass communication. It is designed for the student who desires to enter newspaper, magazine or other advertising design fields. Students wishing to pursue this program of study should consult with advisers in both art and journalism/mass communication departments. Individuals who wish to become professionals in the graphic design field should consider the BFA with concentration in Graphic Design instead. Credit requirements for the BA with major in Graphic Design/Advertising are as follows:

Fine Print: Art hours transferred may not exceed 24 of the 45 required art hours for the BFA degree; at least 24 advanced studio hours must be taken at ACU. Furthermore, 25% of all hours taken and the last 24 hours takenmust be taken at ACU. No more than 66 hours transferred from a junior college may count towards a degree.
