NONPROFIT INTERNSHIP & CAREER FAIR
You are invited to ACU’s inaugural Nonprofit Internship and Career Fair November 14 from 3-5 PM in the Campus Mall. There will be over 25 nonprofit organizations from Abilene and around Texas who will be recruiting interns and employees. This is a great chance for you to learn about the wide variety of nonprofit work and find internships and employment in careers that serve the world! The Fair is being hosted by the Center for Careers and Experiential Learning and students in the COMM 461/561 Nonprofit Event Communication class. The students have planned a fall-themed career fair that has a more relaxed atmosphere than a typical career fair.
- “Elevator pitch” coaching at the career fair
- 10 resumes printed for the first 20 registered students at the fair
- Free Espressoak coffee for the first 50 students at the fair
- There will also be cookies, hot cocoa, hot cider, and music
