Milliken Special Collections is home to the University’s permanent records. Included among these permanent institutional records are the papers of former ACU presidents, official publications, promotional materials and ephemera, academic records from across the campus, historical documents and clippings in several sets of vertical files about campus personalities, events, traditions and places.
We house the Centennial Collections gathered in 2004-2005 in preparation for the University’s Centennial Year in 2006. This collections contains a rich array of memorabilia, artifacts, historic photographs, and campus memories.
The collections and staff support the information needs of the University community. These materials are generally open to the public, including scholarly researchers, genealogists, and historians. Some restrictions may apply to some collections or portions of collections.
If you have University-related historical documents, photographs or memorabilia…such as this 1961 ACC cheerleader’s megaphone…they may be of permanent value. Please contact Mac Ice, Director of Special Collections and Archives, to discuss possible donation.
